Today I’m excited to introduce you to
Takada Kamaboko,
a charming fish cake shop located in Ninomaru, Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City.

The shop’s signature item is Oranda-age (a deep-fried fish cake delicacy),
and they kindly offer free samples right at the storefront!

The friendly staff greet you with warm smiles,
and chatting with them while enjoying samples is a truly uplifting experience (*´Д`)

Oranda-age (Dutch-Style Fried Fish Cake) — 220 yen
Salad Chikuwa — 320 yen
Chiku-Cheese — 370 yen
Chikuwa Salad is actually a famous local specialty of Kumamoto! ♪

I personally adore it and buy it all the time! (laughs)

Assorted Pack — 110 yen
There’s also a great-value assortment pack that lets you enjoy lots of fried fish cakes! ( *´艸`)

Right next to them, you’ll find chikuwa (tube-shaped fish cakes) on display,
with a tempting array of mouthwatering treats lined up at the storefront.

I love that you can enjoy it right after ordering ♪

And after paying,
the staff cheerfully said “Take care!” as I left,
leaving me with such a warm, fuzzy feeling ^^

Crispy and subtly sweet,
the more you chew, the more the natural sweetness and umami flavors spread through your mouth.
Honestly, I wanted to keep it in my mouth forever! lol
