Hello, travelers!

This is Binako, a writer from Sarukuma, bringing you another tasty find from Kumamoto.

Today, I’m excited to introduce a charming little spot in Ninomaru, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City:
Fukuda Farm.

Heads up for drivers: there’s no dedicated parking, but you can use the coin parking at Kumamoto Castle’s Josaien β€” super convenient if you’re already exploring the castle area!

Fukuda Farm specializes in soft-serve ice cream and drinks made with dekopon, Kumamoto’s beloved sweet citrus fruit. β™ͺ

Inside, you’ll find a delightful selection of locally made products beyond just dekopon goods. The Amanatsu Citrus Dressing (572 yen) on display caught my eye β€” it looks wonderfully refreshing and would make a great souvenir to take home!

Recommended Menu

Right out front, the soft-serve menu features:
Dekopon Juice Soft-Serve β€” 400 yen
Dekopon Γ— Chocolate Mix Soft-Serve β€” 400 yen
A combination that’s basically guaranteed to be delicious! (*Β΄Π”ο½€)

Dekopon Γ— Chocolate Float
Dekopon Float β€” 550 yen each
These floats sound absolutely dreamy too…

Hot Dekopon Cocoa β€” 450 yen
A cozy hot cocoa with a citrusy twist β€” perfect for chillier days, and a hit with both kids and adults. ^^

They also serve alcoholic drinks, so this spot is a great pick if you’re not driving!

This time, I went with the
Hot Dekopon Cocoa β€” 450 yen!
Cocoa, dekopon, and marshmallows β€” what a luxurious combo!

Just holding the warm cup is enough to chase the chill away.

Sweet and absolutely delicious! The natural sweetness and gentle tang of dekopon add the perfect accent to rich cocoa, making every sip feel like a small luxury. β™ͺ

It warms you up from the inside out β€” body and soul.

There are plenty of other dekopon-based goodies to discover, so be sure to stop by while you’re sightseeing around Kumamoto Castle!
