Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City (inside Sakuranobaba Johsaien)—
“TENTE”!

This soft serve and fresh fruit juice shop always has a line of eager customers!

The mouthwatering menu signs catch your eye the moment you walk up.

This soft serve shop seems to have a queue every time I visit, but today I came determined to finally try it! (^-^)/

Kotsubu Mikan (Small Mandarin Oranges) – 200 yen

were also for sale! (^o^)

In the back, the staff were carefully peeling each kotsubu mikan (small mandarin oranges) by hand—the very ones used in their juices and soft serve.

This time, I tried the
Kumamoto-Grown Fruit Soft Serve – 500 yen!

You have to eat through this towering pile of fruit before you can even reach the soft serve underneath! That’s how generous the fruit portion is!

And the soft serve goes all the way down to the bottom of the cone (^o^)
