Today I’d like to introduce you to
Higashikyozuka-machi, Higashi-ku, Kumamoto City, where you’ll find
【Kenkun Shindoi Nishi Park】!

The park is located near 【Yoneya】, a shop that’s been previously featured on Sarukuma.

【Yoneya】Famous for fruit daifuku! Mind-blowingly delicious mochi and dango《Saburo, Higashi-ku, Kumamoto City》

You’ll find it tucked behind the local 7-Eleven!

Since the park is nestled in a residential area, there’s no dedicated parking lot (>_<)

However, there is a bike parking area available!

There’s one shaded rest spot perfect for taking a break on sunny days ♪

You’ll find several benches scattered throughout the park!

There’s also a water fountain available!

The grass field is spacious enough for tag games or playing catch with a ball (*^▽^*)

What Makes This Park Special

Check out this awesome multi-play structure (≧▽≦)!!

On the opposite side, there’s also a fun wavy slide!!

Kids can pop their heads through openings or climb to their hearts’ content ♬

Right next to the multi-play structure, you’ll find swings ☆

There are pull-up bars in two heights — perfect for both little kids and bigger ones!

And of course, there’s a sandbox too~ (‘◇’)ゞ

For little ones, there’s an adorable elephant slide 🐘

Plus cute spring rider toys 🐄

While the park itself isn’t huge,
the playground equipment is surprisingly impressive!! (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ

I’m definitely planning to bring my son back here to play soon!!

This park would be a paradise for preschool-age kids ☆

There’s no vending machine on-site,
but since 7-Eleven is right nearby, you can easily grab drinks and snacks!
