Today I’d like to introduce you to a wonderful restaurant located in
Tatsuda, Kita Ward, Kumamoto City,
[Surya] ⭐︎

This place doesn’t just serve curry — it offers
authentic Indian cuisine 🐘

Indian food isn’t something most of us in Japan are super familiar with, so I was really excited to see what was on the menu! 😍

Now, let’s head inside! GO! GO!!!!!

There’s parking right in front of the restaurant 🚗
Very convenient, even on rainy days 👍

And here we are inside! 😀

The atmosphere feels so exotic! 😆

When you think of India, elephants come to mind, right? 🐘

Elephants everywhere you look! 🐘

In India, elephants are considered sacred animals.
There’s even a beloved elephant-headed deity called Ganesha 🐘

Now, let’s take a look at the lunch menu first!

For lunch, you can choose from 5 different types of curry ⭐︎

The Ladies’ Lunch is just 600 yen 😍

It comes with a small curry, a small curry naan, and
a salad — what a great deal! 🥰

Other sets let you choose between rice or naan versions 😆

For an extra 200 yen, you can add a drink set,
and yes — you can even pick lassi! 😁

Here are the 5 curries you can choose from!

Seafood, meat, vegetable, bean, and other categories 😆

I had assumed it would be familiar options like keema or chicken curry,
but I was pleasantly surprised! 💦

The menu has such an authentic Indian aroma to it!!

This is the set menu, where you’ll find
options like the Tandoori Chicken Set and

even a Special Set! 😆

And look at all the different kinds of naan!

Surya’s Recommended Menu Items

First, just look at this naan! 😆
Compared to the fork, you can really see how big it is 😆

The naan was so soft, chewy, and absolutely delicious 🥰

This time, I went with the Special Set for 1,400 yen 😁

Not pictured here, but it also came with papad — a crispy Indian cracker! 😆

I chose the Shrimp Curry and Chicken Masala 😍

You can choose your spice level too! 👍

This time I went with the regular spice level,
but it wasn’t very spicy at all, so next time I’ll definitely try the spicy version 😄

Not only was the food delicious,
but the portions were generous and left me completely satisfied 😆

I highly recommend you stop by and try it for yourself! 😄
