Today I’m taking you to a wonderful local spot in
Miyuki Fueda, Minami-ku, Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture —
Fueda Central Park (Fueda Chuo Koen)! 🎵

You’ll find this lovely park right near Miyuki Hospital and the historic Fueda Shrine!

There’s a nice spacious parking lot with plenty of room (*^▽^*)

A generous bicycle parking area too — perfect if you’re cycling around Kumamoto!

Handwashing station and drinking fountain — handy for parents and travelers alike!

Public restrooms are available, including a multipurpose toilet equipped with a diaper-changing station — a real plus for families with little ones!

You’ll find covered benches as well as plenty of regular benches scattered throughout — perfect for a rest in the shade.

A walking course loops around the entire park — great for a relaxed stroll! ☆

There’s also a wide-open sports field — plenty of room to run around! (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ

Top Highlights at Fueda Central Park

The absolute star of the park is this huge multi-play structure! (≧▽≦)

On the day of our visit, kids were having a blast climbing all over it!

There’s a fun wavy slide,

And a Tarzan-style hanging bar where you jump up, grab on, and swing your way forward (;^ω^)

And of course — a sandbox for the little ones!

Cute spring-rocker rides too — toddlers love these! ♡

Beautiful flower beds also brighten up the park (*’ω’*)
Even better — cherry trees (sakura 🌸) line the walking course, so during spring you can enjoy classic Japanese hanami (cherry blossom viewing) while the kids play!

Heads up: there are no vending machines in the park, so bring drinks with you
or stop by the nearby Maxvalu supermarket to stock up before you arrive (*^▽^*)
