Sakuragi, Higashi Ward, Kumamoto City:
“Honey Coffee Sakura no Mori”.

This stylish cafe is tucked inside TSUTAYA Sakura no Mori, the popular Japanese bookstore chain.
There’s even a terrace outside, so on sunny days you can sip your coffee in the fresh Kumamoto air ♪

If you’re driving, no worries — free parking is available within the Sakura no Mori complex (^^)

The cafe space is wonderfully spacious with a calm, relaxed atmosphere —
the kind of place where you instantly feel at home.

One of the best parts? The cafe is filled with books from TSUTAYA,
and you’re welcome to read them right at your table ♪
It’s the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy a peaceful afternoon — a true taste of Japanese cafe culture.

There’s a self-serve water station too — just help yourself, Japanese-style.

Travelers with little ones will appreciate the hand-washing area and child-sized chairs,
making this a stress-free stop for families ♪

The chai flavor is bold and absolutely delicious!
As a chai lover myself, I was thrilled by how rich and authentic it tasted.

It’s sweet, but not overly so — perfectly balanced and incredibly easy to drink.
I honestly couldn’t stop sipping! I can already see myself coming back for more.
