Oe, Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture.

The shop sits right along the road, and unfortunately there’s no parking lot.

You’ll spot the storefront easily — just look for the bright yellow sign and the quirky chicken illustration ^^

Inside, the space is cozy and compact, but with a stylish, modern vibe ^^

And the chicken pieces themselves are seriously thick and hearty…

Oh no, I can’t stop —
this is SO good…
The meat is juicy yet melt-in-your-mouth tender.
The sauce is incredible too —
that little kick of spice takes it to the next level.

I literally couldn’t put my chopsticks down.

I love how there’s a generous bed of fresh vegetables underneath too.
The crisp veggies pair beautifully with the chicken,
adding a refreshing balance that keeps you eating more.

The potato salad is also a generous portion,
lightly seasoned with just the right amount of salt,
letting the warm, comforting flavor of the potatoes shine through. So good.

This was a deeply, deeply satisfying lunch.
