Recommended Menu Items

Let me share some highlights one by one โ starting with the Belle Couche!

The rich aroma of butter mingled with a subtle hint of milk โ absolutely heavenly. โช
It’s no wonder this is the bakery’s signature croissant โ and the inspiration for its name!

Next up, the Yogurt croissant.
The staff suggested popping it in the toaster to recapture that fresh-from-the-oven taste โ so I gave it a try right away! โช

Trust me โ toasting is an absolute must.
Seriously, do it!!!!
Each crispy bite makes a satisfying crunch. โช
And while yogurt is kneaded into the dough, the flavor itself isn’t overwhelming โ it just gives the croissant a refreshing, light finish!

Now for the Sesame croissant!
You can see just how generously the sesame seeds are sprinkled on top.

The toasty, nutty fragrance of sesame is incredible, and every bite is delightfully savory. (*ยดะ๏ฝ)
The flaky croissant dough pairs beautifully with the crunchy texture of the sesame seeds. โช
The sesame and butter flavors complement each other perfectly โ and since sesame is so good for you, it’s wonderful to have it packed in so generously! ( *ยด่ธ๏ฝ)

The staff are incredibly thoughtful โ they even include a printed guide with toaster instructions to help you enjoy the bread at its very best! โช
If you find yourself in Kumamoto, be sure to stop by Belle Couche to try their amazing croissants and pies โ you won’t regret it!
