Today we’re heading to Tasaki in Nishi-ku, Kumamoto City to check out a hidden gem called Nikushokudo Yokayoka.

This casual diner is run directly by Niku no Sankyo, a meat wholesaler based inside Tasaki Market. Because they cut out the middleman, you can enjoy premium Kumamoto akaushi (Japanese red beef) at surprisingly wallet-friendly prices — a rare find for international visitors who want to try authentic wagyu without the splurge.

and the Hamburger Curry!
The curry portion is seriously generous.
