I recently visited the brand-new “Sora Yoka Park” at Aso Kumamoto Airport β€” Kumamoto’s gateway to the skies β€” and I can’t wait to share it with you! (*^.^*)

It’s also right near a fantastic spot for watching planes take off and land!

Parking is available in the paid lots within Aso Kumamoto Airport grounds.

There are tables and benches too, so on a sunny day it’s perfect for enjoying lunch or a snack while watching planes go by! (^3^)/

Near the beautiful ceramic mural, there’s a staircase leading up to the observation deck. From there, you can also enjoy panoramic views of the planes!
