Welcome to Chirin Chirin Coffee Store

Hello there! It’s “Sashimi,” your SaruKuma writer (^^β™ͺ
Today I’m introducing 【Chirin Chirin Coffee Store】, a delightful little cafe located in Miyoshi, Koshi City.

It’s just a 3-minute drive from Miyoshi Station, and only 3 minutes by car from Country Park β€” perfectly placed for a relaxing detour during your Kumamoto adventures.

Here’s the entrance to “Chirin Chirin Coffee Store.”
Since the cafe is run from a corner of the owner’s home, you might feel a little shy walking in for the first time β€” but the owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, so don’t hesitate to step inside!

The property includes the cafe and a parking area for 5–6 cars.
When I visited, takeaway customers seemed to be the majority.

The name “Chirin Chirin Coffee Store” is just as charming as the cafe’s lovely exterior.

Open the door and you’ll find an equally stylish interior, filled with the wonderful aroma of fresh coffee β™‘

Just to the left of the entrance, you’ll find comfortable sofa seating.

They offer freshly roasted coffee beans by weight (roasted on the spot after purchase),

as well as drip bag coffees β€” perfect souvenirs to take home.

You’ll even find unique drip bags exclusive to Chirin Chirin Coffee Store, like red wine and shochu (Japanese distilled spirit) flavors.
I just smelled the aromas, and I was amazed β€” they truly capture the scent of red wine and shochu!
The alcohol has been completely removed, so even those who don’t drink alcohol or expectant mothers can enjoy them safely.

Recommended Menu at Chirin Chirin Coffee Store

Here’s the menu.

They even serve alcohol! Sakamoto Ryoma Beer caught my eye β€” a fun nod to one of Japan’s most legendary historical figures!

This time, I ordered:

Milk-brewed Coffee β€” 540 yen

Specialty Coffee β€” 460 yen

My personal favorite? The Milk-brewed Coffee!
It’s beautifully sweet, with the milk and coffee blending into something truly delicious!

What’s more, the ice cubes are made of frozen coffee, so the flavor never gets watered down β€” it stays just as tasty from the first sip to the last.

Even if you’re not usually a coffee drinker, I think you’d love this one!
Of course, if you’d prefer it less sweet, they can serve it without sugar.

I went for the iced version, but the hot one looks just as tempting… I’d love to try it next time.

For the Specialty Coffee, just tell the owner your taste preferences and they’ll brew the perfect cup for you.
Even if you simply say “I’ll have your recommendation,” you’re in for a treat.

Here’s a fun bonus β€” “Chirin Chirin Coffee Store” has its very own dog run!
You can enter through this gate next to the parking area.

This spacious garden serves as the dog run.
It’s not just for dogs β€” children are welcome to play here too.

In front of the dog run, there’s a tent with a table and chairs where you can sip your coffee in style while watching dogs and kids run around freely.
There’s even a swing and a hammock to enjoy.

The coffee is roasted right after you order.
The owner is wonderfully kind and happy to share knowledge, so feel free to ask for advice on what kind of coffee suits you best.

With chilly days still ahead, why not warm up with our recommended Milk-brewed Coffee? It’s the perfect cozy stop on your Kumamoto journey.
