Introducing Tsukasa Bowl Tamana
Hello there!
This is Igaguri, writer for Sarukuma!
Today I’m introducing
Tsukasa Bowl Tamana, located in
Ritsuganji, Tamana City, Kumamoto Prefecture.

It’s right next to Tsukasa-no-Yu hot spring!

(Can you spot Tsukasa-no-Yu in the background?)
The first floor is the parking lot.

Â¥1,000 for 60 minutes parking?! That nearly knocked me over—until I read that parking is free for bowling and game-corner customers. Phew…

Up the stairs, the entrance is on the 2nd floor.
Walk in and—boom!—you’re right at the lanes.
Why Tsukasa Bowl Tamana Stands Out
First, fill out the registration form!

Kids can play solo here—a huge plus!
Between moods, time, and money, it’s such a relief…
To help carry the ball right up to the lane, I rented one pair of bowling shoes for myself.
Â¥440 (game fee for high school students and younger) + Â¥330 (kids’ shoe rental) + Â¥330 (adult shoe rental) = Â¥1,100 total!

When I took our form to the counter, they had ultra-lightweight balls just for toddlers waiting right there. The flow is flawless!

Of course, kids’ bowling ramps are available too!
Wait, that looks ridiculously steep…!? (lol)
Don’t worry—it’s just leaning at a 90-degree angle the wrong way for storage.

We picked the lightest one—the pink ramp.
…But!!
She wouldn’t even try!! (Our 3.5-year-old daughter)

So we switched to the ramp covered with Anpanman stickers (a beloved Japanese kids’ superhero)!

Thank you, Anpanman!!
As reliable as ever, Anpanman!!
You’re always the parents’ best friend…!

After each throw, she loved seeing the numbered pins flash on the overhead screen (lol).

She loves the number 1, so knocking down just one pin had her cheering wildly (lol).
Sweetie, that’s not actually impressive—it’s the opposite, you know?
Solo play on a gutter-free lane, 20 throws total!
All done in 20 minutes! (That was quick!)

The whole venue is non-smoking, of course.

When you finish, return your ball to the sanitization station near the front desk.
Please ignore my child mysteriously holding an umbrella indoors.
