Kurisaki Bento Kawashiri Main Store.Sarukuma writer Yuzu previously covered the Kurisaki Bento Nokoshi branch, and this time it’s my turn to explore the original Kurisaki Bento Kawashiri location (^O^)／The shop sits right on Kawashiri’s main street, conveniently located at the intersection of the historic Kawashiri Kuramae-dori — easy to spot even for first-time visitors!There are 3 parking spaces right next to the shop.
While most bentos are made fresh after you order, you’ll also see ready-to-go boxes already prepared on the counter.
Look closely — notice anything missing? There’s no white rice in them yet!

That’s because they fill your box with steaming hot rice the moment you order!

The karaage here is seriously delicious!

Kurisaki Bento Kawashiri Main Store actually started as a rice shop, so the white rice is exceptional!Not just the rice — each piece of karaage is huge too!!
The flavor is bold and savory, perfect for powering through that mountain of rice (^O^)／

The sweet potato salad side dish was also lovely♪
