Today I’m excited to introduce you to
【good time bar Yomnom】, a hidden gem located in
Kamitori-machi, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City!

You’ll find it on the second floor of 【Nagasaki Bookstore】 on Kamitori shopping street!

Just head up the stairs and you’re there!

I actually walked right past the entrance the first time — it’s that tucked away! (;^ω^)

Hours were temporarily shortened until January 11.

The bar closes at 22:00 (10:00 PM).

Solid COVID-19 safety measures are in place — visitors can dine with confidence!

Inside, you’ll find counter seating,

plus semi-private booths in the back!

There are three table seats as well.

The interior design and lighting are seriously stylish and Instagram-worthy (*´ω｀*)♡

This time, our family ordered all three curries to share! (*^▽^*)

First up was my son’s pick: ‘Seasonal Vegetable & Egg Keema Curry’ small portion — 800 yen
Loaded with juicy minced meat in every bite! (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ

Even my son, who normally avoids green vegetables,
happily ate the green beans mixed in with the curry!

My pick was the ‘Butter Chicken Curry’ small portion — 800 yen

The rich buttery flavor and aromatic spices soak deeply into the chicken — absolutely delicious! (≧▽≦)

My husband ordered the ‘Crustacean Curry’ large portion — 1,000 yen

I tried a bite, and the depth of shrimp and crab essence was incredible! Truly impressive!
The spices add a wonderful depth and gentle heat that builds beautifully. (≧◇≦)

Check out the adorable book-shaped coasters and cork chopstick rests!

It feels like a sweet invitation: “Buy a book at the bookstore downstairs, then come up and read while you enjoy curry!” (*^-^*)

The curry was absolutely outstanding,
but discovering this hidden gem above a bookstore — with its stylish atmosphere and that
special “insider’s spot” feeling — left me truly satisfied as I headed home. 🚃
