Today, I’m thrilled to introduce you to
“Australian Cafe & Bar Manly Kumamoto”
located in Minami-Tsuboi-machi, Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City!

Here’s what the cafe looks like from the outside!
With no enclosed entrance door, the space feels wonderfully open and airy. There’s a vinyl curtain to keep things cozy when needed.

When I walked in, I noticed several moms enjoying lunch with their strollers parked at the front tables. ☺️

It’s a truly family-friendly spot! 💕

You can choose from three types of seating:
・Table seats
・Sofa seats
・Counter seats

I sat on the sofa this time, and it was incredibly comfortable!

I forgot to take a photo, but they also had blankets available, plus adorable koala and kangaroo plush toys scattered around — so cute! (laughs)

As you head further inside, you’ll find the menu beautifully written in a stylish, hand-lettered design — I absolutely love this kind of aesthetic! 🥰

This was the view from my seat. It was a beautifully clear day, and that crisp blue-white light typical of late autumn-early winter created such a magical atmosphere. ☀️

Here’s the lunch menu!
Everything looked so delicious that it was tough to choose, but I went with the “Loco Moco with Demi-glace Sauce” (950 yen). 😋

It was only my second time trying loco moco, and wow — it was absolutely amazing!

The juicy hamburger steak smothered in rich demi-glace sauce paired with a perfectly runny egg made for a truly unforgettable bite.

I came with two friends for lunch, and they ordered the
“Fluffy Egg Omurice” (900 yen) and the
“Autumn Vegetable Butter Chicken Curry” (950 yen).

I got to taste a bite of each — the omurice featured beautifully fluffy eggs (just as the name suggests!) and was wonderfully delicious. The butter chicken curry had a fantastic spice blend with just the right amount of heat — the kind of dish that makes you crave another visit. 😏

By the way, Manly is also famous for its pancakes, and they had a
limited-edition autumn Mont Blanc pancake on the menu!

They offer many varieties of pancakes, and I’ve already promised myself I’ll come back for the pancakes next time! (laughs)

Pancakes are also available for takeout, and the cafe even offers Uber Eats delivery!
