Aso Uchinomaki in Kumamoto Prefecture,
to a wonderful little patisserie called “MIYUKI – みゆき -“.

The chic black exterior gives the cake shop
a calm, sophisticated charm at first glance.

There’s a parking lot right in front of the shop — very convenient!

Aren’t these cakes absolutely stunning?
They look like little jewels glistening in the display case!

Mixed Berry Mosaic — 350 yen
That sweet-and-tangy berry combination looks downright addictive.

Wha! What! Is! This!!!!
A seriously gorgeous strawberry tart!!!
Size 5 (about 15 cm) — 6,000 yen
It’s not the cheapest, but it’s the kind of cake worth splurging on at least once.

Aso Oven-Fresh Cream Puff — 200 yen
A fresh batch had just been placed on display when I arrived —
talk about perfect timing!

Chausson — 300 yen
This hearty French-style apple pie is only sold on certain days,
and it’s seriously generous in size!

The shop also stocks beautifully packaged sweets that make perfect souvenirs or gifts.

You can enjoy your treats on the outdoor terrace right after buying them — perfect for a relaxed snack break! ♪

The texture is just the right firmness,
and the rich aroma of vanilla is absolutely luxurious.

The sweetness is gentle and well-balanced —
both adults and kids can happily enjoy it down to the very last spoonful.

It even comes with a separate caramel sauce — such a thoughtful touch!

Now for the star of the show — the Oven-Fresh Cream Puff!

That perfectly crisp choux pastry is pure magic.

The custard has just the right level of sweetness —
light, easy to eat, big in size, and oh-so satisfying!

The custard is so generously stuffed inside
that it spills out with every bite!
Forget about being neat —
I just couldn’t slow down!!!

Seriously, soooo delicious!!
