and now I’m absolutely craving it

Today I’m introducing a true Kumamoto gem,
located in Shinyashiki, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City,
“Gyotoku Pan” (Gyotoku Bakery).

Gyotoku Pan has been baking bread since 1930
making it a true long-established bakery!!

You can really feel how beloved this bakery is by so many people in the community ( *´艸`)

There’s parking for about 4 cars right in front of the shop — convenient for travelers with rental cars!

Inside, an incredible variety of breads lines the shelves from end to end.

From doughnuts to Danish pastries, this is the perfect spot
when you want something sweet for an afternoon snack ♪

The sandwich selection is seriously impressive.

Shrimp Cutlet Burger (Ebi Katsu Burger): 280 yen

And this adorable Cat-Shaped Bread (Neko-chan Pan): 140 yen

I bought it purely because it was too cute to resist.
Meow-velous!!

I couldn’t quite capture it in the photo, but
the head is filled with cream and the body is chocolate!!

Two delicious flavors in one luxurious bread —
pure happiness in every bite!

And then, THIS one
Wheat Germ Bread with Milk Cream (Haiga Pan): 150 yen

Seriously, this was mind-blowingly delicious!

The wheat germ bread was AMAZING!!!!

The toasty, nutty aroma and flavor
combined with the sweet, fragrant milk cream
was such a perfect match — I was already so full,
but before I knew it, the entire bread had vanished…
