Hello, travelers!
This is Asukarando, a Sarukuma writer.

Today, we’re heading to Ueki-machi, Kita Ward, Kumamoto City to introduce you to “BLUE LEAF”.

A stylish bakery where you can enjoy a delicious morning set (^-^)/

As you head along the Suzumugi Line toward Tamana, you’ll spot this sign on your way.

Step inside, and you’ll find an array of unique, character-filled breads waiting for you (^o^)

So many tempting choices β€” it’s hard to decide! (^o^)

Look at this adorable mustache-shaped bread β€” isn’t it charming? (^^)

The shop’s #3 bestseller: the Croissant

#2 is the Smoked Salmon and Mushroom Quiche

And the #1 bestseller? Drumroll, please… it’s this beauty! (^-^)

A bun packed with sweet red bean paste (anko) and rich butter (^o^)

Plenty of customers come in just for this signature treat.

Here’s the cozy eat-in space (^-^)/

Relax with a view of the outdoors while you enjoy your freshly baked bread β˜†

A toaster is also available, so you can warm up your bread for that fresh-from-the-oven feeling β€” perfect! (^-^)/

The eat-in area also has charming picture books about bread for little ones (^-^)

On nice days, you can dine in the lovely garden outside (^-^)/

There’s plenty of parking available right on the property.

There’s no way you’ll finish it all in one sitting (^^;

Of course, I took mine to go (^o^)

Here’s the morning menu (^-^)/

It’s normally 650 yen, but depending on the weather and bread availability, it sometimes drops to 500 yen. On the day I visited, I got lucky and paid just 500 yen β˜†

They also serve pizza and burgers, with takeout available too (^o^)

There’s even a seasonal autumn special β€” the Mushroom Burger!
