Stepping inside, you’ll find shelves lined with so many varieties of baumkuchen — it really does feel like a cozy little home where all the baumkuchen live together! ^^

This time, I treated myself to the Plain Baumkuchen and Sugar Rusk (Matcha)!

First up, the Baumkuchen.
I absolutely love baumkuchen and often pick one up at the supermarket — but this is on a totally different level!

The texture is incredibly fine and firm!
It’s wonderfully moist (not dry at all), satisfying to eat, and the size is just right!

The sweetness is gentle, so I polished it off in no time! ♪

Next up, the Baum Rusk.

I’d never tried a baumkuchen-based rusk before, so I went in expecting something like a typical rusk — but wow, what a surprise!
It’s both crispy AND moist at the same time, and you can really taste the baumkuchen character coming through. Even as a rusk, the baumkuchen presence is unmistakable, and it’s seriously delicious!

It’s lightly dusted with sugar on top, and the amount is just right — making it dangerously easy to keep munching!
