Introducing Kemuri Sanzoku
Hello travelers! This is Miruku, a writer for [SaruKuma].
Today I’m excited to introduce you to Tsuruhada in Kita Ward, Kumamoto City, home to
[Kemuri Sanzoku].

This is a yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) spot I had my eye on for ages!✨
From downtown Kumamoto, you’ll find it on the way to Kikunan Hospital.
It’s right near the Kumamoto Kita Koshi Police Station!

At night, look for the brightly glowing yakiniku sign—you can’t miss it!

There’s a parking lot on-site, so visiting by car is super convenient 🚗✨

The restaurant is closed on Mondays (except holidays), and offers a daily Happy Hour as well as both lunch and dinner service.

And here’s a fun surprise near the entrance—a unique vending machine!
Believe it or not, it sells grilled pork trotters (yaki butaashi)!
A total first for me👀✨ And it’s open 24 hours👀✨
Curious about the vending machine, but let’s head inside the restaurant first😊

Inside, you’ll find table seating,

and traditional Japanese-style raised tatami seating (zashiki)—perfect for families with kids!
There are also bench-style seats.

Counter seating is available too😊✨
This time we came as a family, so we chose the tatami area.

The restrooms are sparkling clean, too🥰

And the playful wallpaper in the tatami room makes for charming interior decor✨

Here’s the all-you-can-eat menu!

All this for just ¥2,980 (excluding tax)!
Plus, preschoolers eat free and elementary school children get half price!
Such amazing value—families will love it🥰
There’s a wide variety of meats, and each side dish is thoughtfully prepared🥰
What impressed me most was the incredible selection of condiments & dipping sauces✨
With all-you-can-eat meals, flavors can sometimes get repetitive, but with this many condiments and sauces available, you can keep mixing things up and trying new combinations💪🏻✨

The basic dipping sauces come in three signature varieties😊

Children’s tableware is also available, so families can dine with peace of mind😊

Orders can be placed via this convenient touchscreen panel🍀

And here’s the lunch menu✨
There’s even a special Ladies’ Set that women will love♡

Of course, an all-you-can-drink option is also available!

You can also take meat to go✨
Recommended Menu Items at Kemuri Sanzoku

This is the restaurant’s signature dish, the Spicy Miso Grilled Pork (Karamiso Yakiton)✨
The portion is incredible!
And it’s included on the all-you-can-eat menu!
If you’re not a big fan of spicy food, don’t worry—the spicy miso pork has a mild kick that’s very approachable😊

Another must-try is the Spicy Miso Mixed Hormone (offal)✨
Hormone (organ meats) can have a strong flavor that some find difficult, but the seasoning here is so delicious you’ll devour it without a second thought😋
Beef Sukiyaki-Style Short Ribs are also part of the all-you-can-eat menu.
It was melt-in-your-mouth delicious!

The side dishes are wonderful too—personally, I was completely hooked on this Addictive Bean Sprouts (Yamitsuki Moyashi)♡

Kid favorites like French fries are on the menu of course,
and they have udon noodles too. With so many kids’ menu options, families can really relax.
Dessert is soft-serve ice cream.
It comes with a cute cookie that the kids absolutely loved.
From the owner to all the staff, everyone here is incredibly kind and welcoming—the atmosphere is warm and homey☔️
If you’re visiting Kumamoto, definitely stop by for an authentic local yakiniku experience!
