Introducing Bel Endroit

Hello travelers! I’m Gachako, a writer for [Sarukuma].

I’ve had my eye on Kahoku-machi for a while now.
There are still so many places I want to share with you, but

today I’m spotlighting Iwano in Kahoku-machi, Yamaga City, home to
[Bel Endroit].

It’s located right across from Michi-no-Eki Oguri-go (a popular roadside station).
This brand-new family-friendly cafe just opened in October 2022 and warmly welcomes visitors with children.

The entrance has a stylish, open feel with a tropical vibe.

Visit in autumn and you might be able to enjoy fall foliage from the terrace.
The leaves were just beginning to change color when we visited.

There’s a large parking lot right in front of the cafe with plenty of space.

What immediately caught my eye was the tapestry advertising the “Yamaga Wagashi Chestnut Luxury Mont Blanc.”

Wow, that looks absolutely delicious…
If I have room after lunch, I’d love to try it… what should I do?

Here’s the lunch menu.

You place your order and pay at the touchscreen panel before being seated.

Recommended Menu Items at Bel Endroit

Grandma’s Recipe Dago-jiru Lunch is what I ordered. (I have a soft spot for anything called “grandma’s recipe.”)

The lunch comes with a salad too.
The crisp Kahoku-grown vegetables and carrot dressing were absolutely delicious!

And here’s my friend’s Yamaga Vegetable Curry Lunch.

The carefully grilled vegetables looked beautiful and were packed with nutrients.
You can also adjust the spice level to your liking with chili powder.

The dago-jiru lunch features a miso-based broth with chicken and plenty of plump, springy “dago” (handmade dumplings).
How do they make the dumplings so wonderfully chewy?

The mandarin orange on the side had deeply colored, richly flavored flesh!

Next to the register, you’ll find roasted sweet potatoes and

conveniently sized blancmange desserts.
This size is perfect for a little something after lunch.
