Today I’m sharing a cozy little gem tucked away in Yatakubo, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City:
“Ginyosha Coffee Roastery” (焙煎工房 銀羊・舎).

With its charming all-white exterior, this café looks like it stepped right out of a fairy tale.

Don’t you sometimes long for a quiet little escape — just you, a great cup of coffee, and a moment to breathe? ☕💕

If that sounds like you, this is exactly the spot 🏡

There’s a small parking area beside the shop, but it only fits 2 to 3 cars in a single line. If it’s full, no worries — there are paid parking lots nearby.

The interior is just as lovely — calm, airy, and full of character 😍

Seating is intimate: just three tables and a counter.

Regulars were happily chatting away with the friendly husband-and-wife owners over freshly brewed coffee 😊

It really has the warm vibe of a grown-up neighborhood hangout ✨

The shop also stocks a beautifully curated selection of tableware, accessories, and lifestyle goods — perfect for souvenir hunters with a good eye.Imported chocolates, sweets, and their signature house-roasted coffee beans are all available to take home, too ☕💭💕

Honestly, that one’s been on my must-try list ever since 😋

Coffee is also available for takeout, and there’s even a small selection of alcoholic drinks if you fancy something stronger ✨

Books and picture books line the shelves too, so you can curl up with a story while sipping your drink.

This time I went for the Pound Cake Set (¥920) ✨

And let me tell you — that house-roasted coffee is something special ☕✧

The aroma alone is enough to soothe your soul 🎶
From three blends on offer, mine was bright and crisp with a lovely refreshing finish.

The set includes pound cake, homemade yogurt, and a sweet little heart-shaped chocolate 💓

The yogurt comes dusted with cinnamon sugar — but don’t worry, the staff kindly ask first before sprinkling it on, in case you’d rather skip it.

Surprisingly, cinnamon and yogurt are a brilliant match 😍

Fun fact — the pound cake is actually baked by Mugihoppe, a beloved bakery we’ve previously featured on Sarukuma!
