Today I’m introducing a hidden gem
located in Kurokami, Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City:
“Cake Atelier Un-Ami.”

Tucked along the road,
it’s the kind of place you might breeze right past if you’re not paying attention.
In fact, the owner of Un-Ami herself laughed and said,
“I used to walk past it too!”
So don’t worry — you’re in good company. Wait, what?

That said, you’ll spot a friendly little sign on the shop pillar
that makes it easy to find!
Maybe you’ve already noticed it driving by?

Quick tip: parking is located behind the shop.
Only spaces #4 and #5 belong to Un-Ami, so please be careful not to park in other spots!

Step inside and you’re greeted by a beautiful lineup of cakes.Even better, Un-Ami’s cakes
are made with carefully chosen ingredients like rice flour — so you can enjoy every bite with peace of mind.

Each cake is just the right size — not too big, not too small —
and the prices are super reasonable.
Here we have:
Blueberry Tart — 300 yen
Apple Tart — 280 yen

Pre-sliced and ready to share:
Pre-Cut Baked Tart — 800 yen

In person, these are even cuter than the pictures suggest:
