I’m Binako, a writer for SaruKuma — and yes, I firmly believe that fruit ice cream eaten at night has zero calories!

Today, I’m excited to introduce a fantastic food truck called “Panda-go”.

As you can see, Panda-go is a mobile karaage (Japanese fried chicken) truck that travels around Kikuchi City!
The bright red truck decorated with adorable panda illustrations instantly catches the eye.

Look closely and you’ll spot a whole gathering of friendly pandas all over the truck!

Good news for locals and visitors:
Panda-go accepts the “Kikuchi Dining Support Tickets” (Kikuchi Inshoku Ouen Ticket),
so if you have one, you can enjoy a great deal!

Here’s where you can usually catch the Panda-go truck:

Tuesday: Along Route 387, Shisui-machi, Kikuchi City
Thursday: Higashi area of Shisui-machi, Kikuchi City
Occasionally: Tokai University Kumamoto Campus
Occasionally: Michi-no-Eki Shisui Yojo Ichiba (roadside station)
Weekends and holidays are typically reserved for events, while Mondays and Fridays are days off —
which means you only have about two days a week to catch them!

The pricing is wonderfully affordable, and ordering by piece count makes it super easy to choose.

I went ahead and placed my order!
So excited!

This time, I tried:
Gochujang, Curry Spice, Salt & Pepper, and Soy Sauce — what a lineup!

First up — the universally loved classic, Salt & Pepper.
Each piece is impressively large in size!

The seasoning is simple, and that simplicity lets you taste
the rich, savory umami of the chicken itself — absolutely delicious!

Next up was the Soy Sauce flavor.
A generous sprinkle of sesame seeds on top adds a wonderful touch!

What is THIS?!
Insanely delicious!! Wait — too good!!

The fragrant soy sauce coating freshly fried karaage
is so addictive, you simply can’t stop eating!

Next, the Curry Spice.
The moment you open the pack, the spicy aroma sweeps you off your feet!

The spice flavors fill your mouth beautifully,
and since it’s not spicy-hot, even kids can happily munch away!
My son was grabbing piece after piece with his bare hands, lol.

Last but not least — the Gochujang flavor.
The generous Korean-style chili sauce coating is absolute heaven!

The rich, bold sauce paired with juicy karaage is an unbeatable combo!
