Today I’m taking you to
Muro, Ozu Town, Kikuchi District, Kumamoto Prefecture, to a place called
“CAFE CHERRY”.

I seriously found a hidden gem this time, you guys!

From the outside, it’s not totally clear what kind of shop it is — I actually drove right past it the first time! But once I spotted the flag with “Hot Dog” written on it, I made a quick U-turn.

You’ll find it right across from Higo-Ozu Station,
conveniently located two doors down from Cafe Land, which we featured before.

Inside, there’s a cozy eat-in area where you can enjoy your meal on the spot.

Counter seating runs along both sides of the shop, making it just as welcoming whether you’re flying solo or hanging out with friends.

And here’s the best part — free Wi-Fi is available inside!
The setup honestly couldn’t be more perfect.

They also serve drinks in those rare, retro-style glass bottles.

So aesthetic, right?

And let’s be real — drinks in glass bottles always taste better. Anyone else with me on that?

And here’s a fun surprise — past the door behind the table in the photo, there’s actually a clothing section with apparel for sale!

So while you wait for your order, you can browse some outfits — talk about a unique combo!

Here’s a look at the menu:

All drinks: 100 yen

Bottled drinks: 150 yen

The drink prices alone made my jaw drop.

Hot Dog: 300 yen

Spicy Hot Dog: 300 yen

Cheese Pizza Dog: 350 yen

Hamburger Dog: 500 yen

I mean, isn’t that ridiculously cheap?!

I couldn’t believe my eyes.

Pasta dishes are also all 500 yen each.

For just 500 yen, you can dig into Napolitan or carbonara!

This time, I went with the Spicy Hot Dog (300 yen)

and a Café au Lait (100 yen).

This HAS to be delicious — no question.

That iconic ketchup-and-mustard color combo is just unbeatable.

This hot dog is literally glowing.

Behold, the view from above —

just looking at it gets your appetite going!

And the best part? It’s made-to-order, freshly grilled, and piping hot!

OHHHHHHHHHH MY GOODNESS!!!

Wait, wait, wait —

this is way too good. Seriously.

The cabbage and cucumber inside add the perfect crunch, and the sausage is unbelievably juicy.

Juicy, crunchy, crispy, fluffy

It’s like a full-on flavor symphony in your mouth!

Just look at that melty goodness — incredible.

I practically inhaled it.

For 300 yen, you HAVE to try this.

Trust me — you’ll be craving CAFE CHERRY’s hot dog before you know it!

The café au lait came in a creatively designed cup,

and it had a lovely, sweet flavor that hit the spot!

Honestly, getting a café au lait for just 100 yen feels like a miracle!

I cannot recommend CAFE CHERRY enough — please go check it out for yourself!
