Today I’m introducing the perfect spot for those moments when
“I’m dying for some good meat, but I don’t have the energy to dine out with the kids.”
It’s a fantastic takeout-only food truck!

Located in Okino, Kikuyo Town, Kikuchi District, Kumamoto Prefecture,
“Oceans Sevens Street” is a must-visit for foodies passing through Kumamoto.

From the front, you’d never guess it’s a food truck — the design is seriously stylish.
My car-loving son was thrilled at first sight.

You’ll find it on the grounds of DAISY, right in front of Kikuyo Nishi Elementary School.
There’s parking for about four cars.

Why not grab your meal to go and enjoy a picnic at the nearby Kikuyo Suginamiki Park? ♪

Just a heads-up: since it’s a food truck,
they occasionally operate from different locations.

I recommend calling ahead to place an order and confirm the location.
When they’re parked elsewhere, they post updates on their Instagram.

Place your order at the side window.
Even from this angle, the truck looks effortlessly cool.

You can also pair your meal with their herbal teas.
I love that they list each herb’s benefits right alongside the name — super helpful for first-timers.

The herbal teas and popcorn were tempting, but I visited at lunchtime, exhausted from a morning shift. My one and only mission today was this!!!!!

And the beef is wonderfully tender… apparently it’s grilled on a hot iron plate. Lovely.
The tender beef pairs perfectly with the peppery seasoned rice.

Bite of rice and beef, then a pickle to refresh the palate, then back to the rice and beef…

Pure, non-stop happiness in every bite…
To think you can experience this much joy for just 900 yen.
