A Sarukuma writer’s first-hand report on “Pizza House Cocco” in Miyuki Fueda, Minami Ward, Kumamoto City. Price range: from 780 yen. We cover family-friendly tips, access, and opening hours.

Hello there!
This is Binako, your Sarukuma writer!

Today I’m excited to introduce you to
“Pizza House Cocco”,
located in Miyuki Fueda, Minami Ward, Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture.

Here’s the deal:

This is a takeout-only specialty shop offering
prepared deli dishes (sozai), frozen foods, and pizzas.

It’s seriously impressive.

You’ll find it right near Sakura Juji Hospital — easy to spot!
The surrounding complex also includes a coin laundry and a local products shop, making it a convenient landmark.

One thing that sets Pizza House Cocco apart
is the incredible variety on their menu.

They also offer party platters (hors d’oeuvres / oodoburu) — perfect for gatherings or celebrations!
They’ll customize the order to match your budget, so you can order with total peace of mind.

Just remember: reservations must be made 3 days in advance!

Inside the shop, the showcase is filled with deli items
that you can purchase by the gram — a wonderfully flexible Japanese-style approach.

By the time I arrived, several popular items had already sold out!

They also sell ready-to-eat bento (Japanese lunch boxes),
so it’s a great quick stop for a tasty midday meal! ♪

To the right of the entrance, you’ll spot the freezer section
packed with everything from pizzas to soups.
The pizzas have a wonderfully crispy crust and have earned a reputation as truly delicious!

And good news for cashless travelers — they accept PayPay!

As a devoted PayPay user myself, this made my day!

Recommended Menu Items

This time, I went with
the Okazu Set (assorted side dishes) — 780 yen!

I mean, I wanted to try EVERYTHING!

The colors and variety are simply stunning.

Honestly, I’d love to pack this entire spread straight into a bento box!

This shot was taken at my child’s request.
Right after the shutter clicked,
the food vanished into their stomach at lightning speed…

As a parent, I really appreciated the fried shrimp (ebi fry) included!

This is Goya Champuru with kikurage mushrooms and okra — a classic Okinawan-style stir-fry.
The bitterness of goya (bitter melon) is barely noticeable, so even kids can enjoy it!

I’d never tried goya champuru with okra and kikurage before,
but it was so good I want to recreate it at home!

This one is the Menchi Katsu with cabbage and basil (a Japanese minced-meat cutlet).
It’s hearty, satisfying, and absolutely delicious!

Adding basil gives the menchi katsu a fresh twist that makes it even easier to enjoy!

Photographer: my son, lol
Meatballs and meat-sauce spaghetti, lovingly captured!

Being able to taste so many different flavors in one go,
plus dishes my kids loved — one pack left us
completely satisfied!

The shop staff were also incredibly kind, making for a truly pleasant experience.

Next time, I’m definitely coming back for the pizza! ♪
