“Yu-an,” a charming hot spring located in
Ueki-machi Kikko, Kita Ward, Kumamoto City.

There’s no large public bath here —
Yu-an specializes exclusively in private family baths (kazoku-yu).

Each bath is freshly filled with new hot spring water for every visit.
Body soap is provided, but shampoo is not,
so be sure to bring your own!

You can borrow toys and picture books to enjoy in the bath area,
making it a fantastic choice for families with children!
There’s a wide variety of bathtub styles to choose from.
Prices vary depending on the size of the resting room
and the number of bathtubs included.

Rates range from 1,300 to 2,800 yen.
