Today we’re heading to

called Yushima (literally “Hot Water Island”).
Famous as one of Japan’s beloved “cat islands,”
Yushima is also surrounded by gentle, shallow coastline,
making it a hidden gem for anglers too.
The ferry costs just 600 yen one-way and takes about 30 minutes,
and since the island’s circumference is only around 6 km,
it’s the perfect size for a leisurely walking date
or a relaxed day trip!

You can spot a few anglers in the photos too!
Just note that the island has no fishing tackle shops,
so be sure to bring all your gear before boarding the ferry.
Access

Fares are collected onboard after the ferry departs.
