Introducing Tsuboi Chuo Park

Today we’re heading to Tsuboi in Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City to check out
[Tsuboi Chuo Park].
It’s conveniently located near [Tsuboigawa Ryokuchi Park Higokko Jungle], which we featured previously.

Tucked into a residential neighborhood in Tsuboi, this spacious park even features a wide-open ground — let me show you around! (^-^)v

There’s a vending machine on the grounds of the apartment building right next to the park.
A convenience store is just about a 1-minute walk away, so you’ll never have to worry about snacks or drinks! (^3^)/

Here are the restrooms at Tsuboi Chuo Park.
There’s also a multi-purpose toilet, so families with little ones can visit with peace of mind.

There’s a hand-washing station near the center of the park as well.

Plenty of benches and a covered rest area make this a wonderfully comfortable place to spend time! (^3^)/

There’s even a picnic table on a slightly raised spot — the breeze up there feels absolutely wonderful! (^^)

Highlights of Tsuboi Chuo Park

The kids’ main destination? This sky-high athletic play structure!

A little scary, but oh-so-thrilling!
When you’re climbing alone it feels stable, but with a few people on it, the whole structure gently sways — talk about a heart-pumping adventure!

The upper sections might be too challenging for very little ones, but they were happily bouncing on the lowest level like a trampoline! (*^.^*)

When you climb to the top, there are even hideout-like nooks that feel just like a secret base! (^-^)v

The grassy open space is perfect for ball games, frisbee, and all sorts of fun outdoor play! (>.<)y-~

There are loads of trees turning beautiful autumn colors, and acorns scattered all over the ground!
During this season, you always end up bringing acorns home as souvenirs from the park, don’t you? (lol)

With so many trees offering plenty of shade on sunny days, it’s the perfect spot to slow down and soak in nature! Why not unwind at ‘Tsuboi Chuo Park’? \(^_^)(^_^)/
