I actually visited this spot a while back, and I’m finally getting around to writing it up (sorry for the delay!).

Today I’m introducing a fun spot located in Shinsoto, Higashi Ward, Kumamoto City:
“Sports Stadium Touya Shinsoto”

Here you can enjoy batting cages, auto tennis, pitching, table tennis, and billiards all in one place! ⚾️🎾🏓🎱

It’s a fantastic place to bond with the kids while burning off some stress — perfect for a fun family outing! 👦👧

It’s located right next to Sushiro Shinsoto, so why not grab some sushi first and then work it off here? 🍣＼(^o^)／

There’s a spacious parking lot on the first floor of the building!

Past the bold illustrations on the wall (lol), head up to the 2nd floor!

Once upstairs, you’ll be greeted by the batting cages dominating one whole side of the floor ⚾️

Kids around elementary-school age can usually start enjoying batting here.

And let’s be honest — that satisfying “crack!” of a bat connecting with the ball never gets old, no matter how grown-up you are! ＼(^o^)／

To the right, you’ll find table tennis, billiards, and a lounge area.

Here’s the price breakdown:

★ Batting ⚾️, Auto Tennis 🎾, Pitching: 200 yen per game

★ Table Tennis 🏓: 30 minutes for 600 yen, 1 hour for 1,000 yen (200 yen per additional 15 minutes after the first 30 minutes)

200 yen for a batting game? That’s a steal! 😆😆

★ Billiards: First hour 500 yen per person (400 yen if 3 people share a table), then 100 yen per person every 15 minutes after the first hour.

The 2-hour and 3-hour packages are also popular!

For table tennis and billiards, check in at the reception desk first. Payment is made afterward.

You can pick any open table tennis table you like!
The same probably goes for billiards tables too.

My personal recommendation is table No. 5 — it’s tucked away like a private room and feels nice and roomy 😊🏓

Each table is surrounded by fine netting, so the balls don’t fly off everywhere. Even total beginners can play without stress! (^^)

Fun fact — my husband once hit the jackpot on one of these! (^^;;

And on the left side, you’ll find the arcade games, Perfect Pitching, and Auto Tennis corners!

You’ll spot Taiko no Tatsujin (the famous Japanese drumming game), the classic crocodile-punching game, and other charmingly retro Showa-era games 😍

My personal favorites — air hockey and the UFO catcher (claw machines), plus more!

And here’s Auto Tennis. The balls keep coming at you, one after another 🎾

I tried it ages ago, and I remember it was way harder than it looked! (^^)

And here’s my favorite — table No. 5! (^O^)

Funnily enough, we always seem to end up at this one. Maybe it’s good karma? 😆

Paddles and balls are included in the price — no extra rental fee.

There’s no time announcement, so you’ll need to keep track of your own time and wrap up when ready.

Scoreboards are also free to borrow!

And there are even chairs to sit on — so thoughtful!

There’s something heart-warming about the back-and-forth rhythm of a ping pong rally — it really brings people together.

And it’s the perfect amount of light exercise too 💛
