Recommended Menu at KKR Hotel Kumamoto

Today, I tried the
brand-new 3-Pie Set for 1,000 yen \(^o^)/

Takeout price: 350 yen each
Eat-in price: 400 yen each

Apple Pie — enjoyed inside (^-^)v

It comes plated beautifully with a side of fresh whipped cream — looks fantastic!

The lounge restaurant on the right side as you enter KKR Hotel Kumamoto is where you can dine in (^o^)/

Now, let’s dig in!

Treating myself in the lounge!

Wow!

The leaf-shaped pastry on top is just adorable (*^^*)

Slicing into it with a knife and fork — the crisp, flaky pastry is absolute perfection (^o^)/

Inside, the elegant apple filling and smooth custard are heavenly \(^o^)/

Adding a bit of whipped cream on top takes it to another level (^-^)
The cream is only lightly sweetened, which lets the apple flavor really shine through.

Next up…

Tomato Meat Pie
The mildly seasoned, kid-friendly meat filling pairs wonderfully with the fresh, juicy cherry tomatoes — an unexpectedly perfect combination!

And finally…

Ikinari Dogyan Pie

Anyone from Kumamoto will get this instantly — yes, it’s a pie version of the local sweet “Ikinari Dango”! (Ikinari Dango is a traditional Kumamoto treat made from sweet potato and red bean paste wrapped in dough.)
The mellow, comforting sweet bean paste combined with the fluffy, gently sweet sweet potato is a flawless duo (^-^)v

It works as a meal!
It works as a snack!
Three pies, three personalities!

So… which pie are YOU?

Kid-sized cutlery is also available.

There are children’s chairs too, so it’s a great spot for families with little ones.

The nursing room is spacious and spotless (*^^*)
There are even picture books to keep little ones entertained (^-^)

KKR Hotel Kumamoto’s takeout menu is something special.
“Hotel-quality flavors, right at home” — highly recommended! If you’re visiting Kumamoto, be sure to stop by (⌒0⌒)/~~
