About the Shop

Hello there!
It’s Maru, your Sarukuma writer πŸ™‚πŸ™ƒ

Today, I’m introducing
a charming spot located in Shimasaki, Nishi-ku, Kumamoto City
β€” “Fuku Channel”!

Wait β€” does the sign say “Miniature Car Shop”?!

That’s right! This place is both a cafe
AND a miniature car shop πŸš•πŸš•πŸ’

The cafe occupies one corner of a beautiful detached house.

You’ll find it just off Ishigami Street, near the Yume Mart Shimasaki store β€” a quick turn off the main road brings you right there.

Parking is right in front of the shop, with space for 3 to 4 cars.

Now let’s step inside!

The interior is small and cozy, with just two table seats and a counter.

There’s also a single yellow kids’ chair tucked in the back!

And one corner of the cafe is the miniature car shopβ™ͺ

A miniature car traffic jam! lol

Apparently it’s the owner’s personal passion β€” and there are TONS of them packed in here (Β°Π΄Β°)

And surprisingly affordable β€” prices start from just 300 yen!

Vehicles really capture every boy’s dreams and aspirations!
Honestly, who doesn’t love them? (^^)

They even offer special-order service. Collectors, take note!

Even the books are all about cars!
That Nissan magazine looks like it’s from decades ago!

There are also retro treasures like a Mickey Mouse rotary-dial phone
and a Tom and Jerry shaved-ice machine!

101 Dalmatians!

Why not stop by and count them yourself to see if there really are 101? lol

Recommended Menu

The menu has plenty to choose from.

Today’s Lunch β˜…
At 900 yen including a drink and mini dessert, it’s a great deal! (Β°Π΄Β°)

From taco rice to pasta.

Most dishes come as set menus,
so the price includes salad, drink, and mini dessert! (Β°Π΄Β°)

Beef Miso Stroganoff Set!

Shimasaki Curry!Bread-based dishes too.Ice cream desserts.And drinks.

Such a wide variety β€” it makes you happy just looking at it! (Β°Π΄Β°)

No wonder, even at the in-between hour of 4 p.m.,
plenty of guests were enjoying their meals!

On my way out, I picked up a pamphlet showing the Shimasaki Curry…
Loaded with ginger! Looks absolutely delicious ( βœ§Π”βœ§)

I was drawn in by this photo and ordered
the Bright Red Apple Cake (drink set) β€” 700 yen!

Oh myοΈŽπŸ’•οΈŽπŸ’•

So adorable 🍎

Beautifully decorated β€” it really lifted my spirits!
And the tea was generous enough for two cups.

The top of the sponge cake was a delicate mousse,
and there was real apple inside too! (^^)
I savored every bite along with the surrounding fruit!

The friendly mother running the place was lovely too β€” it really has that warm, family-run charm β˜…
