About the Shop

Today, I’m introducing
a charming spot located in Shimasaki, Nishi-ku, Kumamoto City
— “Fuku Channel”!

Wait — does the sign say “Miniature Car Shop”?!

That’s right! This place is both a cafe
AND a miniature car shop 🚕🚕💭

The cafe occupies one corner of a beautiful detached house.

You’ll find it just off Ishigami Street, near the Yume Mart Shimasaki store — a quick turn off the main road brings you right there.

Parking is right in front of the shop, with space for 3 to 4 cars.

Now let’s step inside!

The interior is small and cozy, with just two table seats and a counter.

There’s also a single yellow kids’ chair tucked in the back!

And one corner of the cafe is the miniature car shop♪

A miniature car traffic jam! lol

Apparently it’s the owner’s personal passion — and there are TONS of them packed in here (°д°)

And surprisingly affordable — prices start from just 300 yen!

Vehicles really capture every boy’s dreams and aspirations!
Honestly, who doesn’t love them? (^^)

They even offer special-order service. Collectors, take note!

Even the books are all about cars!
That Nissan magazine looks like it’s from decades ago!

There are also retro treasures like a Mickey Mouse rotary-dial phone
and a Tom and Jerry shaved-ice machine!

101 Dalmatians!

Why not stop by and count them yourself to see if there really are 101? lol

At 900 yen including a drink and mini dessert, it’s a great deal! (°д°)

Most dishes come as set menus,

Beef Miso Stroganoff Set!

Shimasaki Curry!Bread-based dishes too.Ice cream desserts.And drinks.

Such a wide variety — it makes you happy just looking at it! (°д°)

No wonder, even at the in-between hour of 4 p.m.,
plenty of guests were enjoying their meals!

On my way out, I picked up a pamphlet showing the Shimasaki Curry…
Loaded with ginger! Looks absolutely delicious ( ✧Д✧)

I was drawn in by this photo and ordered
the Bright Red Apple Cake (drink set) — 700 yen!

So adorable 🍎

Beautifully decorated — it really lifted my spirits!
And the tea was generous enough for two cups.

The top of the sponge cake was a delicate mousse,
and there was real apple inside too! (^^)
I savored every bite along with the surrounding fruit!

The friendly mother running the place was lovely too — it really has that warm, family-run charm ★
