and lately I’ve been completely hooked on amazake (sweet rice drink)!

Today, I’m excited to introduce you to a charming little spot located in Oe, Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City:
“ONE FIVE DOG”.

You’ll easily spot the shop thanks to its adorable logo featuring a French Bulldog illustration!

There’s no dedicated parking lot, but a coin parking is conveniently located right in front of the shop, making access super easy!

Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by a stylish, thoughtfully designed interior — every table and chair has been carefully chosen to create a cozy, modern vibe.

Look around and you’ll spot vintage car figurines and even more French Bulldog mascots from the shop’s logo — total Insta-worthy decor!

These traditional Japanese candied fruits are loved by both kids and adults — they look absolutely irresistible!

For drinks, they offer:
Frozen Yogurt
(Mango, Choco Banana, Strawberry) — 550 yen each
A frozen yogurt drink? Yes, please — it’s the perfect refreshment!

This time, I went with the
Hot Dog (solo) — 450 yen!

The Chili Cheese Dog was tempting, but since I was sharing with my child, I opted for the classic Hot Dog this round.

The bun has a lovely firm-yet-soft texture, and the sausage is generously sized — it looks absolutely mouthwatering! Freshly toasted, the warm aroma alone gets your appetite going!

(I cut it into smaller pieces for easier sharing.)
Incredibly juicy and absolutely delicious!!!
The flavors soak into both the sausage and the bun perfectly — every bite is pure heaven!

The bun itself has so much flavor, I could honestly eat it all day! My kid couldn’t stop munching either — total thumbs up from the little one!

From hot dogs to strawberry candy, this cafe has something for everyone — a true family-friendly favorite!

At the counter, each customer can even snap a Cheki (instant photo) as a fun keepsake! With its playful touches and super friendly owner, it’s a truly delightful spot to visit.
