📌 What You’ll Learn in This Article
A Sarukuma writer visits CAFE BRICCO inside Cainz Kumamoto Uto and shares everything you need to know — family-friendly tips, access info, and opening hours for international travelers exploring Kumamoto.

Hello, fellow travelers!
This is Rikotama, writer for Sarukuma!

Today I’m excited to introduce you to a charming little café tucked away in Sansute-cho, Uto City, Kumamoto Prefecture
【CAFE BRICCO Kumamoto Uto】!

You’ll find this lovely spot inside Cainz Kumamoto Uto, one of the area’s biggest home centers!

Cainz opened in 2017 as a large-scale home improvement store with everything from DIY supplies to a fantastic gardening section — a fun place to browse even if you’re just visiting!
It’s a true one-stop shop for Japanese household goods.

And don’t worry about parking — there’s a huge lot right out front (*´▽`*)

The drink menu offers a wonderful variety of authentically Japanese options, including rich matcha (green tea), bold hojicha (roasted green tea), Japanese black tea, homemade lemonade, and coffee — perfect for trying something uniquely Japanese!

The lemonade comes in two refreshing styles:
Frozen Lemonade (M) ¥380 and
Lemonade (M) ¥290 (also available hot ♪) — great for any season!

They also offer Muffin Rusks (crispy muffin chips) for ¥280 — a clever, crunchy treat made from their signature muffins!

Don’t miss the Mini Soft Serve Ice Cream for just ¥100 — an unbeatable budget treat!

It’s a huge hit with kids ♬

There’s a comfortable eat-in space where you can sit back and enjoy your treats — perfect for taking a break from your shopping or sightseeing adventures!

You’ll also find table seating on the opposite side, ideal for groups or families.

Must-Try Menu Items

The absolute star of the show? The muffins! 🎂(≧▽≦)

You’ll spot rows of them lined up beautifully right next to the register — irresistible!

Plain — ¥110

Chocolate Crunch — ¥160

Black Tea — ¥110

Choco Banana — ¥160

Apple Custard — ¥140

Berry Berry — ¥140

Marron (Chestnut) — ¥160

Sweet Potato — ¥160

With so many tempting flavors, choosing just one is the hardest part! (=゚ω゚)ノ

This time, I went with the Berry Berry (¥140) and…

…the Choco Banana (¥160)!
(Apologies — my son nibbled on it before I could photograph it! >_<)

The Berry Berry muffin features a rich, egg-forward batter packed with three different berries — blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry — giving it a bright, refreshingly tart flavor ♪

The Choco Banana muffin combines warmly baked sweet bananas with nostalgic chocolate chips (*´▽`*)

It reminded me of the homemade chocolate chip cookies my mother used to bake when I was a kid — pure comfort in muffin form!

So, after a fun shopping trip or sightseeing in Uto City, why not treat yourself to one of these gentle, lovingly baked muffins? ♡
