Today I’m introducing a wonderful spot located in
Kengun, Higashi Ward, Kumamoto City:
“Tanoshii Shokutaku Time”.

The location can be a bit tricky to find at first,
but once you know where it is, you’ll never forget!^^

The restaurant is right next to the Kengun McDonald’s!!
Now that you know, you absolutely have to visit!

Parking is available behind the restaurant, plus there’s an additional gravel lot a bit further down, across from the post box.^^

Out back, there’s a fun signboard sitting on a car (lol)
The other lots have signs too, so it’s easy to find a spot.^^

Inside, you’ll find both counter seats and table seating.

Here’s the lunch menu — a delicious tour of Asian cuisine:
Pho Ga (Vietnamese chicken noodle soup) — 800 yen
Pho Bo (Vietnamese beef noodle soup) — 900 yen
Gapao Rice (Thai basil stir-fry) — 850 yen
Lu Rou Fan (Taiwanese braised pork rice) — 850 yen
Pad Thai — 850 yen
Curry of the Day — 850 yen

So many unique dishes you don’t see every day!
It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself saying,
“Can I have a bite of yours?” all through lunch.♪

They also offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.^^
That basil mojito sounds amazing…

It looks SO good~~!!
Shrimp, peanuts, fresh salad, and glass noodles —
truly a dish that makes any food lover smile.

The lid even has instructions for how to enjoy the sauce —
such a thoughtful, detail-oriented restaurant.
That little touch of care really makes a difference (*´Д｀)

And wow — my taste buds are dancing!
First of all, the sauce is incredible.
The vegetables are crisp, fresh, and bursting with flavor.

Absolutely amazing!

The glass noodles pair perfectly with the dish, and the peanuts add a delightful crunch.
You’ll find yourself slurping it up in no time.
A splash of chili sauce adds the perfect spicy kick that boosts your appetite even more.

I tried it plain first.
And honestly — shockingly delicious!!!
The meat is fully infused with flavor — you’ll be polishing it off bite after bite!

The egg is cooked to a perfect soft-boiled consistency, pairing beautifully with the meat.
This is officially what you should be eating for dinner tonight!

The staff are also incredibly kind and easy to chat with — wonderful people all around!!
