Today, I’m excited to introduce you to
【Tezukuri Koubou Kurisaki Bento】,
located in Minami-Takae, Minami Ward, Kumamoto City! ☆

The shop is conveniently located in the Nokoshi housing area just off the Higashi Bypass 😃

There’s parking available right in front of the shop 🚗

Here’s the cool part: this bento shop is run by a rice merchant 🍱

Which means, first and foremost, the rice is absolutely delicious!!
They actually pack the rice into your bento right after you order 🤩

Getting freshly warm rice in your bento? Pure happiness! 🥰

And just look at the daily special menu — the side dishes are absolutely loaded! 😆

You’ll also find curry and tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet) on the menu 🤩

That curry has GOT to be amazing!!

Just a gut feeling, but I’m confident 👍

There’s also a fried shrimp rice bowl — another fantastic bento option 🥰

Can you see what’s inside the omurice (omelette rice) bento?

It’s seriously packed full!!

And here’s the best part!!!!

They have takana rice!! (rice mixed with savory pickled mustard greens — a Kyushu specialty)

You can get a half-and-half of plain rice and takana rice!!!

Most shops charge extra for takana rice,
but here, the half-and-half option is FREE!!

Payment-wise, they accept PayPay, so you can shop cashless and wallet-free 😊

A heads-up: they’re closed on Sundays and public holidays,
and lunch service ends at 2:00 PM, so plan accordingly! 👍

The bentos are seriously generous in size, so for moms with small eaters, sharing one bento between you might be the perfect option 😋

This time, I went with

Small Omurice — 360 yen

I’d been craving omurice all day! 😍

For this much volume at just 360 yen, isn’t that an absolute steal?

Here’s a bite shot:

That ketchup-flavored rice inside is irresistible! 🤩
This is THE classic omurice 😆

This is exactly the
simple, nostalgic omurice I always crave ☺️

And the karaage (Japanese fried chicken) on the side is INSANELY good!!

Now I totally get why everyone was buying the karaage bento!!
It is genuinely, deeply delicious ❤️

And those fukujinzuke pickles (sweet Japanese curry pickles) on the side make me so happy 😄

For me, the presence of fukujinzuke
elevates this bento to a whole new level 😍

Remember when fukujinzuke used to come with pilaf back in the day? 😆

It brings back nostalgic memories — that little pickle has its own special charm 🥰

The rice was wonderful,
the sides were delicious,
and the staff was so kind — it was the perfect lunch! 💕
