Introducing Wafflee Khan

Today we’re heading to Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City, to check out “Wafflee Khan” — a hugely popular Korean waffle chain making its Kumamoto debut.
With over 190 locations in Korea, Wafflee Khan is a beloved waffle specialty shop.
You’ll find it on the 1st floor of Tsutaya Books Kumamoto Sannenzaka.
If you enter from the Starbucks side, it’s right at the end of the aisle straight ahead. ♪

Here’s the menu.Beyond sweet waffles, the savory meal-style waffles are also a hit.

Wafflee Khan: Recommended Menu

Here’s what we ordered today.The No.1 best-seller, “Nutella Strawberry”.
Loaded with whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and a generous drizzle of chocolate sauce. ♡
The whipped cream is a lower-calorie, lighter version, so you can indulge with a little less guilt (haha).

One more must-try.The “Choco Fondant” — a waffle on a stick that’s super easy to eat on the go.
With chocolate sauce and colorful sprinkles, it’s a feast for the eyes too. ♪
It even comes with a little drip tray to catch any spills — a nice touch.

And for drinks, we picked these!The “Matcha Latte” and “Blue Lemonade”.
Served in those signature Korean-style plastic cans — total Instagram gold!

These waffles are made with five different grains:
・Wheat flour
・Sunflower seeds
・Black sesame
・White kidney beans
・Corn starch

On its own, the waffle has a noticeable sesame flavor.
But it never overpowers the fruit or cream — it’s both the star and the perfect supporting act!

We dined in this time, but for takeout, items like the “Nutella Strawberry” are folded in half so you can grab and go.
Half-size orders are also available.
There are three takeout container styles to choose from.
