Hello, and thank you for always following SaruKuma! Today we’re excited to share the recap of one of our most heartwarming events of the season.
On December 20th and 21st, we hosted “Christmas Fluffy Kids Park”

A heartfelt thank you to every family who joined us, and to all the partners who helped make this event possible.
Here’s a little look back at how it all unfolded.

How the Event Went
First up, the Pokémon cards generously sponsored by Vessel Co., Ltd. (located inside Rouro Koshi), our wonderful co-host for this event.
We prepared plenty of card sets and handed them out to children at the entrance — each pack contained 5 cards, including a guaranteed shiny holographic card!
“Are you sure?!” “Yesss!” — the children’s reactions absolutely made our day.
The inflatable dinosaur bouncer (free for the first 30 children each day) was a runaway hit.
From the moment we opened to the very last minute, it was packed with excited little adventurers.
On Day 1, we held the “Baby Santa Crawl Race”!
Despite flu season being in full swing, more than 30 adorable babies dressed as tiny Santas joined us for this unforgettable moment.
Some babies smiled, some sprinted on all fours, some cried out, others crawled toward their neighbor’s toys, and one little one even fell fast asleep mid-race!
It was beyond cute — and so much fun! ♩
Thank you so much to everyone who came out bright and early to join us.
On Day 2, Do Challenge Club hosted a hands-on gymnastics class.
For just 500 yen with free in-and-out access, plenty of kids jumped in to give it a try.
The outdoor main stage hosted a wonderful lineup of performances all weekend.
Day 1 featured Souta from Kumamoto Magic Performers, who absolutely wowed the crowd.
“Whoa!” “How did he do that?!” — the gasps of amazement filled the venue with every trick.
We even spotted little fans copying his signature poses. Adorable!
We were also joined by “Lemon Club,” a music ensemble run by students of Heisei College of Music.
Fun fact — I was actually the one who proposed forming this group, and this event marked the graduation of the second generation of members.
We’ll miss them dearly, but we can’t wait to see what the third generation brings next!
Other creative corners included art workshops, hand and footprint keepsakes, keychain crafting,
slime-making sessions,
and a lovely range of vendors offering handmade goods and even ear-acupressure treatments.
Bonbon Drop stickers — the latest craze among Japanese kids — were also for sale, and they were a huge hit with elementary-school-aged girls.
For food, families enjoyed beef stew, grilled squid, cotton candy, crepes, and much more.
We provided dining areas both indoors and outdoors, so guests could relax and enjoy meals or snack time at their own pace.

Closing Thoughts

Day 1 was so warm that kids stripped down to t-shirts and undershirts, while Day 2 brought rain, strong winds, and a sudden cold front — yet families still came out in droves. Thank you so much for being there!
Many of you visited both days, and so many of you stopped by to say things like “I always read your blog!” or “Keep up the great work — we’re cheering for you!” Honestly, those kind words gave me all the energy I need to keep going strong into next year.
To every partner, vendor, performer, and helper who made this event possible — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
This was SaruKuma’s final event of 2025, but we already have an exciting lineup planned for the new year!
First up: an event at KAB Sumairu Park from January 10th–12th.
We’d love to see you there! ♩
