Welcome to Yotsugi Park

Hello there!
This is Rikotama, writer for SaruKuma!

Today I’m introducing a wonderful little spot located in Hakusan, Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City:
Yotsugi Park (代継公園)!

The park is conveniently located right next to Shin-Suizenji Station, making it super easy to reach by train!

There is one restroom on site.

And here’s the drinking fountain and hand-washing area!

You’ll also find several benches around the park, perfect for taking a break.

Why Yotsugi Park Is Worth a Visit

A toddler-friendly slide!

Swings!

A sandbox and spring-rider toys!

Right next to the play equipment, there’s an open lawn area perfect for running around.
Best of all, the train tracks run right alongside the park, so you can occasionally catch a glimpse of passing trains — a real treat for little train enthusiasts! (≧▽≦)

Cherry blossom trees 🌸 line the park, making it a lovely hanami (cherry blossom viewing) spot in spring.
I visited in the morning and there were hardly any other visitors!

It feels like a relaxed, uncrowded place where kids can play freely. (*^-^*)
If you’re staying nearby, definitely add it to your list! ☆
