About the Facility

Hello there!
This is Ayu-mama, writer for “Sarukuma.”

Today I’m introducing a spot located in Nishi-ku, Kasuga, Kumamoto City:
Round1 Stadium Kumamoto.

Yes, the famous Round1 chain that everyone in Japan knows!
It’s the go-to indoor entertainment spot — a place where kids and adults can have fun all day long.

As always, I brought along my trusted right-hand photographer, so expect plenty of high-quality, stylish shots throughout this report.

This time, we tried out ‘Spo-Cha’ (Sports Challenge), so let me walk you through that experience.

Here’s the pricing. (For full details, you can also check the official website.)

They use a self-checkout payment system here.
Credit cards are accepted too — handy for international visitors!

So high-tech!
(Yes, calling it “high-tech” probably dates me — total mom-vibes there.)

Hygiene measures are top-notch!
Hand sanitizer and cleaning cloths are stationed throughout the venue.

The restrooms come equipped with diaper-changing tables — perfect for parents traveling with little ones.

Vending machines are available too!

Lockers are also provided for safekeeping your belongings.

There’s a dedicated dining area where you can buy food and drinks!

A drink bar is on offer,

and they even serve beer and highballs!
(The beer is so cheap I could barely resist ordering one!)

Ice cream is just 100 yen!

The presentation is reminiscent of a certain famous ice cream shop…

And the flavor was way better than 100-yen quality!

Top Highlights

First up, an attraction you’ve probably seen on TV commercials!

The Rodeo Machine
Unfortunately, my son didn’t meet the height requirement, so he couldn’t ride it this time.
And let’s be honest — nobody wants to see a mom getting bucked off a mechanical bull, plus our editorial team would probably veto that photo anyway, so I sat this one out.

Roller Skating
This was my son’s very first time on roller skates.
Since he handles a skateboard like a pro, I figured roller skates would be a breeze.

Boy, was I wrong!
He spent the whole time clinging to the handrail.

Eventually he gave up entirely and crawled off the rink on his hands and knees. Farewell, dignity!

Shooting Gallery
Mini Bowling

Soccer
What was this game called again?!

Tennis

Table Tennis

Trampoline

Arcade Games

And the list goes on — there are tons of activities suitable even for toddlers.

For older kids and adults, you’ll also find batting cages, basketball, Segways, and pocket bikes!

What captured my son’s attention the most was…
this Kids Space.

Balloon Area
(Pretty sure he’s not playing with these the right way.)

Ball Pool Area

There’s even a dedicated baby zone.

Nearby, you’ll find massage chairs and

a manga library too — so while the kids run wild, mom and dad can finally catch their breath!

At the end of the day, my toddler is still very much a toddler, and the Ball Pool Area ended up being his absolute favorite. He played there nonstop.

The balls get sucked up from down here…

then shoot up top, where you can have ball battles!

You can collect balls and drop them from above,

or load up a machine that blasts them all out at once — my son was beyond thrilled with this one!

Round1 Stadium offers all-day fun for kids and adults alike — why not escape the chilly Kumamoto winter and enjoy a warm day of indoor play here?!
