Today I’m introducing
Abumida, Ueki-machi, Kita-ku, Kumamoto City‘s very own
“Yakitori from 80 Yen”!

This yakitori shop sits right along Route 3 — easy to spot as you drive by! (^o^)

Parking is conveniently located right next to the shop.

The name says “From 80 Yen”…
but actually, some skewers start at just 70 yen — a true wallet-friendly yakitori shop! (^з^)-☆

They also sell skewers raw (uncooked), so it’s a great spot for BBQ supplies too!

The display case inside is loaded with yakitori skewers and tonsoku (pig’s feet), all ready and waiting! ☆

To order, just write down how many of each item you want on the order sheet — they grill everything fresh after you order.

There are chairs, a TV, and manga (Japanese comics) inside, so the wait flies by! (^з^)-☆

There are even capsule toy machines (gachapon) — kids will definitely beg for one! ☆

You can even watch the skewers being grilled through the window! ☆

They also offer an Extra Seasoning Add-On for 50 yen sold separately! (^-^)/

The pork belly is a winner — no question! ☆
No wonder it’s so popular! (^o^)

And of course, no yakitori run is complete without crispy chicken skin! (^-^)
I could eat these by the dozen! (^з^)-☆

The negima has such a comforting flavor too! (^o^)
The green onion in between really pulls everything together. (^-^)

Every single skewer is pure deliciousness! (^-^)/
Goes perfectly with a cold beer, and makes a fantastic side dish too! ☆
