Today I’m introducing a wonderful little bakery located in Musashigaoka, Kita Ward, Kumamoto City:
“Pan no Kuni Alice Musashigaoka Branch”.

The exterior features a stylish brick-style design that’s instantly inviting.

Inside, freshly baked bread lines the shelves — a feast for the eyes (and nose)!

The variety here is impressive. Front and center is the:

Sucre Soft (Sugar-topped Soft Bread) — 210 yen

It’s huge and looks absolutely delicious — and the size-to-price ratio honestly blew me away!

Piroshki — 150 yen

Anpan (Sweet Red Bean Bun) — 120 yen

Rich Chocolate Bread — 180 yen

All these crowd-pleasers come at very wallet-friendly prices!

I also spotted a brand-new menu item:
Tender Roast Pork Sandwich — 320 yen

And this one looks irresistible too:
Juicy Coarse-Ground Pork Frankfurter Rye Dog — 300 yen

The rye bread really caught my attention!

Anpanman Chocolate Bread — 140 yen

Bear-Shaped Bread (Custard Cream) — 140 yen

There’s also a charming selection of character-shaped bread that kids absolutely adore!

There were also adorable chocolate buns shaped like the little soot sprites from a famous Studio Ghibli film!

You’ll also find loaves of bread along with:
Red Lettuce / Frill Lettuce Bread — 170 yen

And one of the best surprises: a Half-Price Corner! Perfect for grabbing breakfast or lunch on a budget — you can stock up on several breads for very little.

What a great find!

The shop even offers complimentary cold water!

And free coffee too! Kids can enjoy water while parents sip coffee — turning your bread purchase into a perfect little café-style snack break.

Recommended Menu

This time, I went with the:
Tender Roast Pork Sandwich — 320 yen

It’s generously stuffed with roast pork, plus loads of fresh tomato and lettuce. Excellent value for the price!

Mmm!

The pork is so juicy and flavorful!

The vegetables are crisp and fresh, the bread is wonderfully soft and fluffy, and everything blends together perfectly.

Next, my regular favorite:

Choco Cornet — usually 150 yen, but I scored one as a half-price treasure for just
75 yen!

What a deal!

I popped it in the fridge overnight and served it for breakfast the next morning. The moment my child saw it on the plate — pure joy! It vanished in seconds!
