๐Ÿ“Œ What You’ll Learn in This Article
A Sarukuma writer visits “Jinryu” in Kumamoto City and shares an honest, on-the-ground report. We’ve also rounded up family-friendly tips, access info, and opening hours.

Today we’re heading to
“Ramen Tsukemen Aburasoba Jinryu,” tucked away in Higashi Ward, Shimoanbe, Kumamoto City.

After some on-and-off closures due to air conditioning trouble,
Jinryu is happily back open for business.

Order at the ticket vending machine by the entrance โ€” a classic Japanese ramen shop experience.

Recommended Menu

Our top pick is the rich, thick tsukemen (dipping noodles).
It goes down surprisingly easily,
so we recommend ordering the large-size noodles!

The shop sits on the former site of Curry no Champion.
The sign is large, so you’ll spot it right away.

Next time, we’re definitely coming back for a bowl of regular ramen.
